Howard Delton Pope, 75, of Eugene, Oregon, passed away peacefully on June 4th, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on June 20th, 1950 in Eugene to Mary and Carl Pope. He lived a full and meaningful life, serving in the United States Army during Vietnam. Most notably working as a Boilermaker for both Southern Pacific and Union Pacific Railroad for over 25+ years.
Above all, Howard was a man of quiet wisdom and unwavering support for his family. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. His faith with God was a testament of leaving past mistakes behind and setting his feet on a path with our Creator.
He leaves behind a beautiful legacy and will be dearly missed by his family.
He is survived by his wife Marcie Pope; his brother Donald Pope; his three children, Jonathan, Matthew, and Pamela; his nephews Chris and Zack; his 5 loving grandchildren, Nate, Dominic, Donovan, Alivia, and Landon. His 5 adoring great grandchildren; Carter, Ashtyn, Nyla, Walker, and Charlotte
