Eugenia (Geni) Perkins Sustello was born on August 9, 1950, in Roseburg, Oregon and passed away on July 30, 2025. Daughter of Elliott and Lou ise Perkins. Graduated from South Eugene High School and the University of Oregon. 

Geni had been married to Dennis Sustello and has 2 children, Gabriel and Christa Sustello. Geni had a long career providing ser vices to the underprivileged and those in need. She worked for many years directly with families and in management for Adult & Family Services at the Lane County Housing Authority when she retired. Geni loved to travel, she went to Europe and Mexico multiple times and across the United States where she saw many Oregon Duck games as she was an avid Duck fan and a season ticket holder for several decades. 

Geni is survived by son Gabriel Sustello, daughter Christa Sustello and one granddaughter as well as her sister Toni Peterson, nephew Michael Nicholas and niece Emily Provost. Geni is also survived by her long term partner Donald Hiaasen and his sons James Hiaasen, Joshua Hiaasen and Don’s nephew Garth Hiaasen and wife Whittney. 

Memorial Service will be held at Rest-Haven Memorial Park on 8/11/2025 at 11:00am.
